Second time I came here, I use this hotel, when I drive from Antwerp to the Swiss Alps. It's somewhat in the middle, and I don't like driving for too many hours. So this hotel is a perfect stop in between. Rooms: very nice, spacious. Breakfast: very good Spa: nice, but very strange that it is a dressed wellness... We are in Europe, and we normally don't wear clothes in a sauna... So that is really strange. Be sure to bring swimwear. Personally: I go to wellness places in Belgium and The Netherlands a lot, this is the only one I know that is dressed. Things I love about this hotel: - the overall very nice look of the place when you arrive. - the convenient parking with charging facilities. - the nice smell whey you enter the hotel. - the way the room numbers are projected on the floor. - the Japanese toilet in the room. - the TV in the room is discretely hidden behind a mirror. Minor things I would change: - in the restaurant, the chandeliers hanging above the tables, have LED light, and although it is probably 2700 Kelvin, LED just does not give a warm welcoming light, especially in combination with food. The dishes that are so well prepared in the kitchen, loose a lot of appeal because of the LED light. I admit I'm obsessed with lighting, and see these mistakes in a lot of hotels and restaurant. The only time LED can work, is when you combine it with a lot of halogen, to make it warmer and more appealing. - ditch the swimwear in the Wellness - I love the black coffee cups ( from RAK ? ) but if you wanna make tea in your room (or in the restaurant) : black is not suitable for tea, as you simply cannot sea the color (and thus strength) of your tea. Will I be back? Sure! Next time I drive to the Alps, I'll book again.

Upon arrival you can only be amazed at this wonderfully located hotel. The reception and everything in the hotel is as to be expected and then a little better still. The spa is amazing and even though we were there on a weekend not too crowded. So why the 4 stars? Well, our first dinner nights was not in the Michelin star restaurant and we had to wait VERY long for our main dish (over an hour). When then seeing the bill we thought it to be very overpriced. Our room was a forest room and even though the shower was amazing i did not really like it. Do not get me wrong, the room has everything you could want but these rooms have not so much space as you are on top level and this means the roof is in the way. They have made the most of it and the room itself is beautiful but i felt a little cramped. We did have the Michelin star dinner which was amazing and very well priced in our point of view. The 3 o clock sweettooth is also a very nice touch and staff we very very helpful. So a 5* rating but with a few things to keep in mind.

Well, it’s a R&C which says a lot. This hidden-away-in-the-hills spa and gastronomic delight is a wonderful place to indulge the senses. The hotel itself is beautiful, as was our room and the service was excellent. The pools and Spa are spread over 3 levels and offers a wonderful experience. Apart from dinner the breakfast experience should not be forgotten.

We love coming to this place for its calm location, its large and diversified spa and the good food. This is what you expect anyway when it's a Relais et Château. This time however, the rooms where noisy, the wifi was horrendously slow and disconnects all the time, and the worst was housekeeping. They skipped several times turn down, left kleenex boxes empty,... The other point we did not appreciate, is the half board system which only applies if you sleep the night before AND the night after the lunch, and, breakfast is not not included in it!? So you pay 3 nights half board and you only get 2 lunches?? Last disappointment was the crowd in the spa on Saturday as it was open for non hotel residents.

I wrote a review August 2022, and found out later that they had suspended my account, and deleted my comment due to the fact that I was a month off 14. My family stayed at this hotel looking for a relaxing stop in our road trip. Upon arrival we were met with a friendly reception team, who swiftly showed us to our room, and brought our bags. The rooms were nice, with fully blackout curtains. Creating a isolated experience. That night we had dinner in the hotels restaurant, and soon found that they had a very short music playlist, lasting only 10 minutes until the same song repeated. This slowly but surely drive me and my family to the brink of insanity. Giving me and my sister headaches. For dinner my mother had caviar, the caviar came with 2 Bellinis, my mother requested more Bellinis as they had quickly disappeared, and upon request the waiter had to have a big discussion with the chef, then finally the chef agreed to make more. Five minutes later we were informed that the chef burnt the Bellinis, and he then refused to make any more, saying ‘only two blinis per caviar.’. This was not only a big inconvenience, but resulted in waste of our caviar. This being a spa hotel, unless you were having a massage or swimming in the pool. You soon found yourself with nothing to do. The only entertaining thing was a Pac-Man machine, which my family and I must’ve spent hours on. My family rented out the hotels salt pool, which was relaxing, but quite expensive for just an hour. To go into the main spa section, you had to be over 15, with me being under 15, I found myself stuck in the kid section, with a small pool and hot tub, which eventually got repetitive. If you are going to this hotel, I don’t recommend bringing anyone under the age of 15, as they will feel bored. Upon departure, the hotel said they would sign us up for an exclusive releáis chateaux club. For the inconvenience caused by the blini incident. It’s almost a year later and we still haven’t heard a word from them. In conclusion, I feel this was a big disappointment, and I am confused and annoyed as to why we haven’t heard anything about the releáis château club.

We really enjoyed our stay here at this charming hotel. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group and make us feel welcome. The property has been newly renovated - the rooms are very nice, the food was great and the Spa was exceptional!

Fabulous relaxing spa. Multiple pools, hot tubs, splash pools and saunas. Very relaxed and relaxing. A little strange at first to see everyone just walking around in bath robes, but great that no dressing up needed for breakfast or lunch. Staff very helpful and has nature hikes. We did a 6 mile one, which was well marked and quite energetic, but great to get into the forest. Had a wonderful massage to follow. 2 restaurants. One gourmet, which was good food wise, but we felt a little pretentious. The other served just as good food with limited menu. We stayed 3 night sna only criticism is that the menu’s were not sufficiently varied that on 3rd night, we ate out. If you want luxury and relaxation, the perfect place.
